A fast growing Hosiery Unit mainly involved in Export business felt requirement of RO desalination Plant to reduce their dependence on out sourcing of Tanker water and improve consistency of their process feed water for enhancing the product quality and savings in processing cost.

They had surveyed extensively to select the best supplier in desalination Plants and after few months of hectic exercise FTI & WET were selected as their specialized supplier of RO plant.The system requirement is for 240,000 GPD of treated water where as the feed TDS to RO Plant shall be of maximum 7000ppm which is presently at 3500ppm.

They have recently installed a 180,000 GPD Ro plant from WET which was designed at feed TDS of 10,000ppm as their tubewell water TDS was 7000ppm at the time of order.The tubewell quality went very bad i.e 15000ppm limiting the capacity of the existing RO plant due this increase.

They felt to have another system of 240,000 GPD to be designed at 15000ppm to fill this gap between demand and supply.

This customer is operating WET supplied RO plant since last more than 4 years with a capacity of 180,000 GPD and the unit is still performing as desired with no replacement of membrane.Due to sever water scarcity in Hub Industrial they were exploring the possibilities of further treating the reject water going to drain from the existing RO plant.

They have ordered a system to treat RO reject to recover 50% out of the reject.

A medium scale rapidly growing Hosiery processing unit was exploring the opportunity to reduce their dependence on outer source of water.They were negotiating their requirement with us since last one year despite very cheap options available to them from local as well as foreign suppliers but they were convinced to go for our Equipment because of following reasons :

Design ,Engineering and overall quality of the Equipment was superb in their opinion.

The performance of our supplied equipment was far excellent and in most of the cases our competitors either did not have any reference or were trailing far behind in performance.

The life of the equipment was evident from the existing units in operation since last more than 8 years and still performing the same.

They were looking for a pilot scale RO unit to testify the results and then to go for a bigger requirement.At IGATEX 2003,their Managing Director visited our stall and asked us to visit as he wants to finalize a small system of about 50,000 GPD as trial.

In our first meeting having telephonic confirmations from some of the RO plants users he closed the deal for 90,000 GPD RO plant.
